Casein / Caseinate

Casein and caseinates are produced through carefully controlled protein separation and conversion processes that preserve functional properties and nutritional value. Fresh skim milk is coagulated under precisely regulated conditions to separate high-quality casein curd. The curd is thoroughly washed, dewatered, and gently dried to produce high-purity casein powder. For caseinate production, the casein is further processed through controlled re-dissolution, neutralization, pasteurization, and spray drying to deliver highly soluble, functional protein ingredients for food, nutrition, pharmaceutical, and industrial applications.

SCHNEL Enginering has designed the casein and caseinate production plant for maximum protein yield, functional integrity, and operational efficiency through precise control of all critical process parameters — including temperature, pH, residence time, and moisture content — which are continuously monitored and automatically regulated to ensure consistent product quality. High-efficiency separation, optimized drying technology, and integrated heat recovery systems significantly reduce energy consumption while preserving protein functionality, while hygienic plant design, enclosed material handling, and advanced automation ensure stable operation, minimal product losses, and long-term reliability, resulting in a robust and scalable production facility capable of delivering world-class casein and caseinate products with superior performance and cost efficiency.
